1. When is Yellow Ribbon Prison Run 2009?

2. What is the flag-off time?
The first flag-off time is at 7.30am.

3. Where is the venue of the Run?
Start Point: SAF Field, Farnborough Road (Near Changi Village)
End Point: Changi Prison Complex

4. What is the running route of the Run?
Loyang Ave > Upper Changi Road North > Cosford Road > Upper Changi Road North > Changi North Rise

5. What are the different race categories?
There are 4 race categories:
a. 5km Fun Run
b. 10km Competitive Run
c. Corporate 5km Run
d. Corporate 10km Run

6. How does the corporate category race work?
Each corporate team consists of at least 10 runners. Participants must be full-time employees within the same company. This category is open to all business organization, including ministries and statutory boards.

7. How can I register for Yellow Ribbon Prison Run 2009?
All Participants must submit their entries and payment online through the registration page.

8. What is the registration fee?
5km Fun Run 10km Competitive Run

9. How do Participants register for the corporate category?
An appointed leader of the team has to email us at enquiry@yellowribbonprisonrun.sg and he will be advised from there.

10. Will I receive a refund on my registration fees if I withdraw from the Run?
No. Once the registration has been duly processed, there will be no refunds to the Participant should he/she decide not to take part.

11. Is the registration transferable?
The entry is non-transferable. The organizer has the right to disqualify any Participant found to be using another Participant’s number bib.

12. Can I change my race category after I have registered?
Participants are not allowed to change their race categories after registration.

13. When does registration close?
Registration will close when the maximum number of slots has been filled, or 8th August 2009, whichever comes first.

14. When is the race pack collection?
The race pack will only be issued on 30th August 2009, Saturday from 8am to 8pm at Toa Payoh Sports Hall.

15. Are there other dates to collect my race pack?
No. Please collect your race pack on the date stated.

16. What do I need to bring during the collection day?
Participants have to produce the e-receipt bearing the confirmation number (sent to your mail after payment has been made) together with their identity card or passport

17. Can I authorize someone to collect on my behalf?
Yes. Please print and fill in the letter of authorization, together with your e-receipt and his/her identity card or passport.

18. What does the race pack consist of?
The race pack consists of a runner’s tee and a race handbook contained in an exclusive Yellow Ribbon drawstring bag.

19. Can I exchange if the size of my tee is not suitable?
Size selection is made during registration. Please refer to size chart for details. Exchange can be made on a first-come-first-serve basis.

20. Where can I deposit my belongings before the run?
Runners will have to use the drawstring bag provided to deposit their belongings with the depository service available.

21. Can I run without my number bib?
No. Runners without their number bib will not be allowed to participate.

22. What do I receive after the run?
All Participants will receive a runner’s kit after completing their run when they present their runner’s kit collection tag attached to their bibs at the designated area. A finisher’s certificate will also be mailed to Participants with Singapore addresses only.

23. How do I check my timing?
10km timings will be posted at the Race Result section.
